John Frey is a husband of 19 years, a father of four, and a lifelong geek with a heart full of stories and a house full of collectibles.

Born in Colorado and now nestled in the Quad Cities of Illinois, he’s spent most of his life juggling parenthood, comic books, and the ever-growing challenge of not buying just one more figurine for the shelf.

A proud lover of fantasy, sci-fi, and everything in between, John draws inspiration from the sweeping epics of Tolkien and George R.R. Martin, the brilliant chaos of Stan Lee and Chris Claremont, and the immersive worlds of The Elder Scrolls, Magic: The Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons.

 

He roots hard for the Denver Broncos and Nuggets, believes Han shot first, and will forever be torn by the bi-panic that is Gambit & Rogue.
